Bath Time for Natalia

Well, now that she is 3, bathtime photos are soon to be a thing of the past. I must admit that I love these photos though. I like trying to capture the sweet, bubble moments in tub. After spending some time at Kelly's house and finding out the Jillian always takes a ton of Polly Pockets into the tub, my kids decided that Barbie needs a bath too. It drives me crazy because Barbie isn't, technically, a bath toy but they love it!

I really had some struggles with the colour in these photos, they had a very, very strong yellow cast to them, but in the end they look good to me. I actually shot the one of the Barbies in RAW. Listening to Jen, I decided to give it a shot and in all honesty, it was so much easier to edit my colour issues. I am going to try RAW format more often.

My daughter has a pile of bathing Barbies too. Good idea for a photo, although mine will not be any where near as well done as yours!

Nice shots again Shannon!
Raw is much much easier to edit in. It takes up more space on big shoots but for everyday stuff its good! Norm shoots in RAW format all the time. I tend to do the raw +jpeg setting.

I have some nice shots of the sun setting tonight! I am hoping to do a photo post tonight.

Glad it worked out! I find RAW so much easier. So much more control over colour and way easier to edit multiple pictures. I'm so glad you tried it. The pictures are fantastic!

Great photos, looks like they all have fun in the tub! :)
I haven't tried RAW yet, a little afraid it will take too much time editing, but one thing I often do is setting the white balance manually. It really makes a great difference in strange light.

Thank you for visiting my project 349. I hope we'll be getting a bathtub soon. There is room for it in one of our bathrooms but we haven't installed one yet. Soon....I hope!
