Not much happening here today. Emma stayed home from school because she has been complaining that her ear hurt. She has been doing this on and off for days. I wasn't sure if I believed her or not because she always seems fine when she has some tylenol in her but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and let her stay home. After the tylenol she stayed in bed for another hour or so and then once she did get up, this is what she did for the morning.
It's always amazing to me how well the girls get along when one or the other isn't feeling well. There were almost no arguments all day and I even caught them in situations like these.
By about 4:00 I was pretty convinced that Emma wasn't sick at all. Until Natalia blurts out, "Emma, your hot!" So I decided to take her temperature and sure enough, she has a low grade fever.
Ok, next time I will try and believe her but it's tough when she is acting normal.

Sweet photos!
I hope your daughter is feeling better soon!
Sorry to hear Emma isn't feeling well. :( Love the picture of the girls together. So sweet! The lighting in the first picture is so beautiful.
Okay Shannon, how did you get the picture of you from "a couple of years ago" into the photo on the chair with Natalia? You are awesome with PhotoShop! Wow, does Emma ever bring back memories of you!
Awesome pictures.
So sorry little Emma is sick!
What sweet photos of the two of them together though!
Gorgeous photos. Hope your girls get well soon.
Hey you..
Just need to point out that most make liars of their parents..LOL its their jobs.
Also Quinlan NEVER had a fever with his ear infections and during the day he was fine, doing "normal" stuff...only tip off was that he would rash up on his face and his nose would run...then when we laid him down at night he would SCREAM!
Ear infections are very unpredictable! Ear pain is a rather odd complaint to get out of school. Headaches and tummy aches are the typical ones.
Hope Emma is better soon.
