I think it turned out pretty good. Emma tends to give me really, really goofy smiles if I ask her to smile so I was pretty happy to see that she didn't do that for the photographer. I only wish that she would have given him a bigger smile buy hey I will take what I can get. I was really afraid of what I was going to end up with. I do think that she looks a little stunned in the picture but oh well, I can't expect perfection.

Is this just a proof or the finished product? Is your camera just really, really good? In your photos, Emma's blue eyes immediately pop out but here they seem a little dull. They almost blend into the background. Still a great picture of her but I think your photographs of her are much better. I always hated picture time at school. All it took was for one blink or one uncomfortable smile or not being prepared for the picture in general and you're stuck with it for the entire year. It was worse in high school when it went on the student card - and they used the first picture that they took!
Emma, I love your school picture. If you have an extra one, would you save it for me please? I would love to put it on my fridge door. Hope that you are having some fun in JK and are learning a few things and meeting some new friends.
Shannon, thank you for posting Emma's picture. It certainly isn't as good as the ones you take, but it is a school picture!
